Why Canada needs to resist more ISIS war

So the Conservatives are ramping up the pressure of the other parties to agree to extend the military incursion against the ISIS. They are trying to shame the other parties by saying will be a moral duty of some sort to continue to bomb ISIS, essentially the West’s own creation resulting from its “moral” destruction of Libya and Iraq. The Cons know what they are doing too. They have played this moral bullshit shell game before to great success. Let us hope that this time the Liberals and NDP will grow a spine and think less about the electoral optics of refusing to support Harper and his war-mongering and think more about how to end this costly masculinist sand-box play aimed at ¬†deflecting the public from a tanking resource extraction economy, the creation of a secret police force and the circumscription of the democratic right to protest by environmentalists and indigenous peoples.
