No one is responsible for the oil price collapse say the media

Please note how the collapse in oil prices as portrayed by the media  seems to have  “just happened”. No responsible agents  are attached to this collapse in prices. (well maybe Saudi Arabia because you just can’t trust an Arab, right, so the implicit message in the media goes) It just happened all by itself, yes? No criticism in the media of all the traders and brokers and, more importantly, those they buy and sell for in the “free” market. Nope just all of a sudden there was just too much oil out there and so the market “corrected” itself into panic. You can bet there are people out there who caused this for their own selfish motives i.e., I am not rich enough yet, my yacht is too small, whatever. One of the easiest ways to deflect attention in the media is to make sure there is no visible agent who did the thing; something just happened and no one is responsible….
