Racist sentencing in Saskatchewan or not? The results are not good

Now here is an interesting article on whether or not judges, particularly in Saskatchewan, are applying the legal Gladue sentencing guidelines in order to combat the over-representation of Aboriginal peoples in Cdn prisons. On one hand, a retired judge criticizes the Sask judges and, othe the other, another retired judge protects the Sask judges. One thing is for sure, Sask is putting more Aboriginal peoples behind bars than other provinces. Racism comes in many forms. Sentencing is difficult at the best of times.
