GM executives should have gone to jail for manslaughter at least

GM pays 35 million as a penalty for not recalling cars with faulty ignitions that killed at least 11 people over the decade they did not recall. Not one of the CEOs who presided over GM over that period was charged with any crime yet they had to have consciously given the ok to hide the defect. So 11 people died. Those deaths resulted from the premeditated decision making of the CEOs and other executives at GM. Premeditation is usually criterion for first degree murder.  Is that not at least manslaughter? Nope the corporation which is now an individual thanks to recent Supreme Court decisions pays 35 million. So the sub-prime mortgage debacle and the recession that resulted from it and all the lives ruined because of market greed resulted in no criminal charges, or virtually none, for the captains of industry that caused it. No bankers went to jail. No GM execs go to jail.  Democracy? Rule of law? Justice for all? What a fucking joke. I am not laughing and neither are the dead and those living in poverty because these elites get away with it.
